We at Midwest Business Media, publishers of Corporate Report Wisconsin, are proud to announce the launch of a new publication. Women in Wisconsin Business will debut inside the pages of Corporate Report in October. Beginning in January, the publication will begin quarterly distribution.

With more than 100,000 businesses of all sizes in Wisconsin that are majority-owned by women and with women holding about 38% of professional and management positions in the state, women are coming into their own. At the same time, women are earning about 78 cents for every dollar men earn. According to our research and a survey we conducted, women not only feel all the pressures of men, they feel additional pressure to perform, achieve work/life balance and mentor others. So we’re creating a community for them to share, learn and help each other achieve more professionally and maybe even achieve that elusive balanced life.

We’ve already met many terrific and professional women whose stories we’ll share. We’ll also bring you their secrets for success and getting things done. So be sure and join us for each edition between now and October when we bring you Women in Wisconsin Business.
